These notes present an introduction to the method of geometric quantization. We discuss main theorems in a style suitable for theoretical physicist with eye towards physical motivation and interpretation construction as providing solution Dirac’s axioms provide detail examples free relativistic particles, their corresponding quantum fields, bosonic string using formalism double field theory. This paper is based on lectures written by Gabriel Cardoso.
